Foreign Relations Committee Approves Libya Resolution

Source: Deb Pettit and Libby Leist / MSNBC The Senate Foreign Relations Committee voted, 14-5, to approve a resolution that would authorize United States participation in the NATO-led mission in Libya. The resolution was offered by Chairman John Kerry (D-MA), and Sen. John McCain (R-AZ), which authorized continued participation of the U.S. military, but banned troops on the ground.
