And so here comes the filthy, ugly man
rattling the rusty cup
with his hand out...
For those who have checked out the first of my Two/Shots, I'm happy to announce the next. For those who didn't know, I'm releasing short stories, two at a time, as eBooks.
The first has been out for a while, and is free. The
new Two/Shot features "We Might Just Save This Night Yet" a short story originally published in the gorgeous, all-hardback & clamshell
Bottle of Smoke production called Athenaeum, as well as an unpublished story "Japanese Maple."
No eReader? No problem! The stories are present in what techno-types tell me is a wide array of eReading choices--including the troglodyte laptop or ancient desktop computer (so even I can read them!).
Now, the bad news: the new eBook is $.99, a hair shy of a buck, or, by way of comparison--the change you've got floating around in your car, or lost down the couch cushions. So I think we can all agree, in this brutal economy, those are FRIEND PRICES! Plus--if you consider the
first free Two/Shot--you're basically getting 4 short stories for less than a one dollar U.S....or, for you bean counters out there, 24.25 cents per story!
And, as always, all proceeds go directly to keeping me in the lavish hot-dog-fried-rice-and-ice-water lifestyle that over a decade of small press writing has afforded me!
