The Next Mary O'Reilly Book is Available

Hello!

The next Mary O'Reilly Paranormal Mystery is now available - Final Call.
Stanley peered up into the shadows above the stage. There was a colorful blaze of fabric amidst the burgundy curtains and canvas backdrops. He moved closer, trying to get a better view from a different angle.
“Hey, what’s this play about anyway?” Stanley asked. “Is it a Western?”
“No, it’s a drama,” Rosie replied.
“How come you need a dummy hanging from a rope?”
She looked over quickly. “No one gets hanged in the play.”
“Sure looks like it. Up there.”
Rosie looked up to where he directed and saw the caftan and silk pants ruffling in the slight breeze of the theater twenty feet over the stage.
“Oh, sweet heavens! Stanley,” she screamed. “That’s Faye!”
Faye McMullen was murdered in cold blood at Winneshiek Theater and Mary O’Reilly and Police Chief Bradley Alden have to discover who done it before the murderer gets the chance to get rid of the prime witness... Mary O’Reilly.

Sallee Glickler Perfect timing! I JUST got my new debit card (someone got my old one and used it in France, lol). I needed something to read since it is way too hot here in Southern California to do much crochet or sewing. Thank you for the heads up.

ETA: All downloaded. I will be enjoying this tonight when the girls are sleeping and the husband is at work:)

message 13: by Heather (new)

Heather Gah! It ended just when it was getting good! Seriously, I was so into the book I nearly cried when it ended. You have a style of writing that makes it feel like I just got started when I come to the end. Had some formatting issues with the Kindle addition, as I'm sure you're aware, but other than that minor annoyance I was thrilled with the book! Eagerly, eargerly awaiting the next installment.

message 14: by Terri (new)

Terri Reid Thank you so much, Heather. I'm working on the next one and will post here when it's ready!!! Terri

message 15: by Peggy (new)

Terri Reid Peggy - thank you so much!!!! IT also says something for my wonderful, loyal and supportive readers. :) <3

message 17: by Sue (new)

Sue Have just discovered Mary O'Reilly and read all four books this weekend - I loved them !! Can,t wait for the next instalment to see if Bradley can finally get some closure with Jeannine and realise how much he has with Mary! Bet he won't remember what she said about sex before marriage until he's made a fool of himself though!!
Love it, love it!
Thanks for such brilliant stories - I hate waiting!!!

message 18: by Terri (new)

Terri Reid Hi Sue! I am so glad you enjoyed the books. You're right about Bradley. I really hope you enjoy the situations he gets himself in during the next book. :) The next book should be out in mid-September. I'll announce it here on Goodreads when it's ready for download.
Thanks again!!!
Terri

message 19: by Sue (new)

Sue That's brilliant news!! I can't wait for the next instalment. I've read a lot of paranormal books in the last year and whilst I've enjoyed every one, there's not many that have had me racing to download the next part - there's just something about your characters that has me laughing, cheering them on and squirming in discomfort when they get it wrong pretty much all at the same time!! How many books do you plan on writing in this series?
(oh and thanks for replying to me - not everyone takes the time to respond it's great to "talk" to someone who produces something you enjoy reading)

message 20: by Jan (new)

Jan Have just finished your latest Mary O'Reilly book downloaded onto my Kindle. Have thoroughly enjoyed them all and not sure I would have ever have found them down on the South coast of the UK! Do keep on writing them - am just about to start on the New Orleans book now...

message 21: by Terri (new)

Terri Reid Sue - I LOVE conversing with my readers and I appreciate the time they take to make comments. :) I'm not sure how many books will be in the series. I know there will be at least two more after this one and then we'll see. :) Not a very decisive answer I'm afraid. :) Terri

message 22: by Terri (new)

Terri Reid Jan - I'm so glad you found them and I'm thrilled you liked them. :) I hope you enjoy The Ghosts of New Orleans too!!!! Terri

message 23: by Sue (new)

Sue I'm glad the next book won't be the last but I hope Bradley and Mary get together before the end of the series - they work well together so it would be nice to see them tackle stuff without the tension of being on opposite sides of the relationship at some point. Thanks for the answer!!

Jan - I'm with you on what a great find these books are on kindle - I live in Oxfordshire and don't think I'd have found them in my local book shops either which is a pity as they're so good!!

I'll have to take a look at the new Orleans book too!

message 24: by Terri (new)

Terri Reid I promise that Bradley and Mary will be together before the end of the series. But, now that you've brought it up, that's just the question I have. With the sexual tension gone - will the relationship get boring? I would love to continue to write about Mary and Bradley as a team, but I wonder if all of you would get bored. What do you think?

message 25: by Sue (new)

Sue Every couple has their problems but the constant will they/won't they get it together can also get a bit tired. Us readers can get frustrated when there are endless obstacles between the couple and final union. I'm sure you can think of a few twists and turns to keep us all there withbthem to the very end!!
My favourite books are the Chicagoland vampires by Chloe neill - she had the main characters get it together in book 3 (we all cheered!) split up before the end of the book, make progress towards getting back together during book 4 only to kill off the gorgeous hero at the end of the book leaving all her fans shocked - we are so waiting for November when the next part comes out to see what happens.
You can obviously do a lot to readers and we still come back - I'm sure you'll think up some fab plot lines to keep us on our toes with Bradley and Mary!!

message 26: by Terri (new)

Terri Reid Thanks Sue. :) I'll have to check out the Chicagoland Vampires when I get a chance. :) Terri

message 27: by Stacey (new)

Stacey I happened to download the first one on my kindle. I love it. The characters are ones you can connect with and the story is one you get caught up in.

message 28: by Terri (new)

Terri Reid Thanks Stacey - I'm so glad you liked it!!! Terri

message 29: by Marcy (new)

Sue Just finished Secret Hollows - outstanding Terri!!! I've laughed, cried (so sad) and finally been left with goose-bumps!! I love these characters, they're so real. Way to go, Terri - can't wait for book 8 now!!

message 32: by Terri (new)
