Staying connected (blog marathon post 4)

On Saturdays, my day day begins with checking how my column looks in print in The Financial Chronicle. For those who are not aware, I write a column every Saturday called 'Sex and the city' in the Financial Chronicle. It has everything to do with man-woman relationships, sex, love, how men and women are different etc. I cover a range of topics. If you want to read it, you can either you can find it online, or you could pick up a physical copy (recommended) :)

This was my column today.


One of the things I love doing is reading a  newspaper with a cup of coffee, in the mornings. I read multiple newspapers. I mostly skip the depressing or salacious stuff. I like reading the middle, the editorials and I also like 'The Speaking Tree' in Times of India, which has spiritual pieces.

We went to the multiplex yesterday and watched Me before You. It is rated 8.1 on IMDB and the movie is beautiful. I must say though that I liked Waiting, better.

There was an important message in the movie: That if you love someone, you just accept them for who they are. You may not agree or like the choices they make. But if you truly love them, then you do not try and change their minds to what you think is right. The choices they make are right for them. You accept and support them.
