Forego Forgo

I just learned yesterday that forego and forgo mean two entirely different things.

Forego: something to do with happening before (foregone conclusion)
Forgo: do without (I'll forgo coffee)

Who knew?

I think forego must be misused rather a lot because forgo without the e sure looks funny to me!

Spellchecker for blogger has serious issues with forego!
