Classical music – where do I start?

One of the things on my 40 list for this year is to learn about classical music.

I don't really know where to begin. And that's where you come in (I hope).

Where should I start? What should I listen to?

Lucie Simone I don't know a whole lot about it either, but I do listen to it sometimes. My faves: Beethoven, Chopin, Tchaikovsky, Erik Satie, and of course, Mozart. You can check out KUSC.org, which is a great classical station. Also look up Joshua Bell, YoYo Ma, and John Williams. They'll introduce you to some of the best stuff ever recorded. Have fun!

Keris Thanks, Lucie. I've heard a bit of YoYo Ma (thanks to The West Wing) and I love!
