Random thoughts about Pulse Of Heroes

As I write this, I am just throwing out random thoughts about Pulse Of Heroes

Pulse Of Heroes is a very long book. 198,000 words! This is a time commitment. I think that squeezing it into only 500 pages misleads the reader that it’s shorter. Maybe it should come with a warning?

The book should be closer to 700 pages. Couldn’t be feasible when being charged by the page :(

Some people love sagas and some people don’t. I have been told that Pulse Of Heroes should have been longer as most readers dreaded it coming to an end, while others wanted action right away. They wanted in and out.

Personally I think people get used to formulas and feel unhinged when some books do not follow it. For me this is a compliment. I didn’t set out to write a pop book. I set out to write what felt right-luckily people are reading it and picking up on my soul hidden there between the pages.

I had no expectations when writing this novel. Money was last thing on my mind as I know many authors and it takes thousands of book sold to gain real profit.

If one person liked my book then that’s a job well done. I am humbled again and again when people tell me they fell in love with it. J

Pulse of Heroes is really a few books in one: A coming of age story of a late bloomer girl. It is a romance that grows on emotions rather than lust. It is a complicated romance considering the difference between the couple. It is a suspenseful adventure. It is History of the world and social commentary about society. It is a story about a man who must go through his own trials and tribulations.

Pulse Of Heroes doesn’t end, it continues in two more books. I am excited to have people read the next installment.
