What I signed up for


When Matt's sperm met my egg in a fallopian tube deep within me, I had no idea what I was signing up for. Sure, I stopped my birth control pills intentionally, and yes, I'm an OB/GYN, so I'm pretty up on how babies are made. We consciously made the decision to become parents, and I was pretty sure that having unprotected sex would lead to a pregnancy, and that nine months later, I would give birth.
