Tiny beings

As I sat here, revising, I noticed a very tiny preying mantis on the edge of my computer. I got her on my finger and moved her out of the way on the table so I didn't accidentally crush her. She's taken up her position there, apparently waiting for something smaller than herself to come along. I purchased three mantis egg cases earlier this spring and it appears they're hatching!




Earlier I put the skittens' towel near their new burrow and came back later to find them moved out onto it. They prefer terry to concrete, even if their mom doesn't. Almost got a pic of her with the kittens, but she took off. They are growing quite friendly.
