I guess that solves it...

After much deliberation, hem-hawing, procrastination, and numerous starts, it looks like there will indeed be vampires in my next novel.

Of course, I just can't plop in the regular interpretation of the classic monster, I have to go and mix it all up like some supernatural gumbo.

I also figured I'd throw in a relative of one of the supporting characters from 'The Rift.'

You can never be too sure.

If I had a title, I'd release it, but I don't even have that yet.

Hopefully, I can have it out by Nov/Dec of this year. I'd say earlier, but I don't want to jinx myself.

Yeah, I'm superstitious.
