It is finally time to phase out my desktop computer. As it is now, I work on my laptop. The desktop is for scanning, printing and storage of files. It's old, ancient in computer years, but it has survived a lot. Granted, I keep it physically and virtually clean.
Now, after getting hit with that nasty Windows Security Virus and spending two days routing through registries and such, I've decided that was the sign to update my little home network. I'll start small. Instead of just ordering a new stallion of a laptop to bring into the stable, I'm going to order up a 2T external drive. Hook that up to the laptop, get backblaze and Carbonite backing up everything, then that drive will store all the original files for DeD.
Nice and simple. I'll keep the old tower as a hobby PC and see what I can build out of it.
