I am reformatting Doctor V's first story now. Done for the purposes of making it fit right in a future book collection. Though like with Girly, I can fit each comic on half a page in its current state. But I'd rather not reduce the art that much (especially since I'm leaning toward doing a smaller Scott Pilgrim-sized collection)… and since the first story is the only one done this way, I way as well fix it… and do it now, rather than be faced with this task later.
It's a reformat and not a revision, so the artwork's all the same, just moved around. Though the temptations are certainly there. Really wanna tone down the Doctor's bulgy cheek in these early comics but nooo. My shaky artistic progress shall be preserved.
I am redoing the shading, though, out of necessity. I can resize the lineart and have it still look good in print, but resized shading and screentones look like crap.
I'd have done this with Girly too, if it didn't mean editing 600 pages of art. :|
Stick with me and I'll get there, just a few more things to do before regularly updated non-chickenscratch comics become a thing by me again!
