day to day

yesterday, one of my employers announced a complete relaunch of their line, including simultaneous print and digital publishing dates for all new content.

the reactions to this have been interesting to watch. especially the negative ones. some folks pointing unflattering cameras at themselves.

for my part, i've got deadlines on 3 different projects, so my head's mostly down. i've not seen most of my local friends. i've failed completely to keep my basic needs covered in my hotel's refrigerator, so the great meals out have been countered by ricecakes, reheated soup and lots of french bread.

and i've run out even of that, so today i'll have to venture outside and eat something cooked.
