Should #Authors Be Easily Located?

Amazon Author Page for Lynn Hallbrooks I often wonder if I'm the only one who desires to find out more about an author on Amazon and/or Goodreads. Maybe, since I only started being on social media after becoming a published author, I just expect all authors to have an Amazon Author Central page and a Goodreads Author page. Some place to see a little more about them and to see how and where to connect.

Maybe it is part of my helpful nature to wish to share something with the author in a little more private setting than blasting it all over the Internet. Other times I would like to give the author a shout out on twitter. Sometimes it is my curious nature to see if we have something other than writing in common. It all depends on how I'm feeling or thinking at a given moment.  I just know how disappointing it is to search and not find any way to get the information I'm looking for quickly.
