Book 3 Working Title

It has been a while since I have posted...the year has turned out to be much busier than expected. I did make a trip back to my home town, Colville WA, two weekends ago. It was great to visit my small town which always feels like home to me. I was able to visit the local library and donate a set of my first two books. Then I visited what I referred to as the "new" high school. A student quickly reminded me that I graduated in 1994, which was 17 years ago. I defended myself by saying that when I graduated I was the first graduating class from the "new" high school. This opened myself up to questions that honestly made feel older than I wanted to. A student asked if they had computers when I was in school. The sad part is that I did take a typing class my freshman year...on a type writer. They then proceeded to ask if the Internet was invented yet when I was in school. Of course the Internet was there...we just had dial up. Crickets...no one had heard of dial up. Needless to say I was taken aback by the questions, however, I was glad that high school students were actually paying attention. I talked to a couple English classes for an hour about writing and getting published. I was then treated to talking to a college prep English class for another hour. I have to say this was extremely rewarding to see the interest students have in reading and writing. There is real hope for the future. I also was interviewed by the local paper, The Statesmen Examiner, and was asked a question I had not been asked yet, "what is the title of your third book?" Well, in answer to that question, the working title is "The Orb of Nitesh". This is obviously subject to change, but it will likely stick. This is the typical answer any author gives, but I am hopeful it will stick. As far as a status update, I am nearing the end of book 3. I have 3 or 4 chapters left before I call it good. I plan on continuing on to book 4, which also has a working title I will release once I have written the first chapter of that book. If you have not checked out my website, check it out today -http://theguardianchronicles.tateauthor.com. Please feel free to check me out on http://www.goodreads.com. Also, the books are available through amazon.com, Barnes and Noble, Tate Publishing, and Borders.
