Post-launch collapse

Well, the launch turned out to be a maelstrom of Chinese news media. The Consul General of the People's Republic of China attended and made a speech as did Bob Rae,in whose political riding the launch took place. One of the highlights for us was the attendance of Michael Bliss, a distinguished historian who says he likes the book. We're over the moon about this, as his good opinion means a lot. Rod and I both feel pretty limp today--too much over-stimulation yesterday. Only one more interview next week on the immediate horizon now, although we are getting quite a few invitations to speak at various venues in the fall.Time to take a deep breath and ask--is there life after Bethune?
