An Unexpected Contract
Another series is finished. Free Me, my first contemporary m/m, comes out on June 5th. Its sequel, In His Arms, is finished. I polished it up, added lots of new words and said a farewell to the characters, Bryan and Phil. Then I put it's best clothes on and shipped it off the Amber Allure this morning.
To my surprise and great pleasure, I received an acceptance from Trace Edward Zaber ten minutes later. He said the contract would be in the mail, along with a contract for the paperback, when he combines the two books. The title for the one author anthology is Freedom In This Arms.
The two books tell the story of Phil Sanderson and Bryan Newcastle and their search for a sexual Dom/sub relationship and, of course, love.
Free Me will be out at Amber Allure on June 5; In His Arms on August 7 and the paperback, Freedom In His Arms, in mid-September. I'm excited about being an Amber Quill author.
Here's a blurb from Free Me:
Dr. Bryan Newcastle needs a respite from the grinding responsibilities of his medical practice. He's looking for someone to free his mind and body, to take him to the sexual heights his ex-lover had stifled.
On an impulse, Bryan plunks down his credit card, and commits himself to a gay, BDSM cruise that he hopes will be the answer to all his prayers. Bryan meets Phil Sanderson, a sexual dom looking for a vacation sub.
With a key card slid across the lunch table, Bryan is plunged into Phil's decadent world, where sexual submission is only the beginning of what Phil wishes to show Bryan.
Phil brings his sub to new heights, but seven days isn't enough. Will Bryan and Phil be able to return to their former lives or has Phil just started Bryan's journey to sexual freedom?
This coming week will be busy, with two releases - Free Me and The Rogue's Salvation on June 6th from Noble Romance. Yes, I love being an author.
Till next time, Luv, Brita
