Getting Ready to Go Live

None of you probably remember, but a while back, I posted on Facebook that I was considering doing live videos on my Facebook page. And then nothing happened — mainly because my human lacked one crucial piece of equipment: an iPhone tripod that would clip onto her phone while it was still in its case. My human, you see, is very clumsy, and she had to put a heavy-duty case on her iPhone that’s very hard to get off. So guess what? She finally got a Joby tripod with a smart phone holder that works for her. Plus, she somehow managed to finagle lunch out of her boyfriend while they were off on that errand.

With her hands free, my human will be able to have me do tricks, hold up title cards (since I don’t speak Human), and anything else that might be required of her during a live video of me. We decided to practice a bit, which is a good thing because I started off by sitting way too close to the iPhone.

It turns out I actually knew to move back and stay on command! Isn’t that cool?

Uh-oh, here comes someone who won’t move back and does not know the meaning of stay… as in stay away!

I can see this may become a problem for a live Facebook video.

I’m not sure when I’ll do a live video on Facebook, but I can guarantee it’ll be soon! I may have to bribe Binga to take a behind the camera job, though!
