A New Day Has Come!
For some weeks and months, both my husband and myself have been working really hard on writing, editing, formatting, and publishing my ebooks. My editor has been hard at work, working his fingers down to the nubs trying to get my work out and ready for publication.
During this time, it was clear that my previous website wasn’t going to work with new content for older readership, so my husband and I started on the journey towards finding the perfect theme, and modifying it to suit us. Of course, this was extremely hard to do because it had to fit into our hectic lifestyle. We were often up in the middle of the night, putting the final touches on pieces for publication at the crack of dawn.
But, as of this very moment, our website is up and running and ready for readers to purchase an ebook to their liking. I am extremely excited about the endless possibilities of growing my readership around the globe. You don’t quite know how pleased I am to see my books purchased half way around the world. What a thrilling sight!
The journey of a self-published author can be an extremely challenging one, but I wouldn’t change a thing! I have learned so much from fellow authors, writing groups, my readers, and of course, my family. Without their constant support and acknowledgement, I don’t think I’d have pushed myself this far. Extra special thanks to the webmaster, (my husband) AJ, for creating this site.
As I often tell my students, “How do you know what you’re capable of if you don’t try?” Well, here’s me telling you, I pushed myself, I tried, I nearly got burnt out under the pressure, but I’m still going!
