goodbye paris, hello zagreb

i'm in europe for the next few weeks… landed yesterday in paris and tomorrow morning i'll be flying to munich where magically brian azzarello and i will board the same plane, though he's flying from chicago and i from paris, to zagreb to meet our friends for a couple days.

it was a year or so ago that i saw zagreb the first time, right about then i began conversations to be the special guest of a pretty spectacular looking show called MAFEST in makarska on the adriatic sea. on wednesday morning, come rain, shine or hangover, we'll be making the drive from zagreb to makarska with a stop or 2 for roman ruins and lamb, not necessarily in that order.

so: that's what i'm doing. it is my intent to update ever couple days until about july when i head home. here's my first full day in paris, featuring random wandering through the 6-9th arrondisements and a pretty spectacular meal at l'atelier de joel robuchon.
