The New NEWS Page...

While I can hardly abide the idea that the fruitless ways I dither away my days need somehow be chronicled, and while I certainly don't think I'm interesting enough to necessitate a blog, or Facebook page, or Twitter feed, or whatever the hell...I will reluctantly admit that there should be a better way for me to let you, my small but committed band of readers, know what's going on. So, welcome, one and all, to the brand new NEWS section--a half-assed and hair-brained attempt to keep most of my boring life offline. Believe me, if you were sitting in this chair, you'd thank me.

If I can figure out what it is, and how to it works, I'll add a RSS feed for ease in getting the occasional updates. I'll likely announce new projects (including the pre-sale of special editions), or new audio, or interviews, or publications, or just new stuff added to the website. Hopefully this will be enough to keep you up-to-date without being shelled by electro-garbage and emails.
 
In other news: Over the years, I've written short stories. I'm making them available (most for the first time)--2 for $.99--on as many eBook platforms as I can. The far-off details of a short story collection are still in the works, so this seemed the best way to make them available until then. Also: I'm keeping a mailing list--not just email, but regular mail too. If you'd like your name and/or address added (or updated, if you've recently moved) drop me a quick line via the contact form on the bottom of the INFO page, and I'll fix you up. I know what you're thinking: "Why the hell should I give you my address, McCreesh?"  Well, I'm afraid I don't have a good answer for that. Rest assured, there's at least a 67% chance I won't knock on your door at some rainy, unforgivable hour, and beg to sleep on an old couch. I almost never do that anymore.
