i walked into a restaurant…

i was walking into a restaurant yesterday and i bumped into the former mayor of wichita, Bob Knight. We greeted each other as i had known him for a long time because he was friends with many folks with whom i am acquainted. He said, "Jad, i read your book!" I was a bit surprised at that and even a bit embarassed and i told him so. He said, "no, Jad, i enjoyed it. I am proud of you. I have known you since you were a teenager and it was inspiring to know the things you have overcome in your life." that was not exactly the conversation but something like that. it made me feel good. it actually made my day. Thank you God. Life is good!
