With the rumours that E02 will have scenes in a children hospital, I cannot help but think about one thing: Munchausen Syndrome by Proxy.

Munchausen syndrome by proxy (MSbP or MbP) is a behaviour pattern in which a caregiver or spouse fabricates, exaggerates, or induces mental or physical health problems in those who are in their care, usually to gain attention or sympathy from others.

What do we think people? Is that something Mary could do? Is it too dramatic, even for Moftiss?

Thing is, recent reports are of BC being in a dressing gown whilst filming at the SU ‘hospital’ set-up. So is he the patient instead of a child? Or maybe he’s also there as a patient? It’s confusing. “The Dying Detective” has been suggested, in which Sherlock fakes his illness for a case. Maybe it has nothing to do with a child then. Or maybe there is an ill child so Sherlock fakes ill to get into the hospital? No idea. But so far no confirmation that it even IS baby Watson who is sick.
