Public Can Watch Entergy v. Shumlin in Brattleboro June 23

On June 23, the trial of Entergy versus Shumlin will begin in a federal courtroom in Brattleboro. The public can attend. In April, Entergy Corporation of Louisiana sued Vermont governor Peter Shumlin because the people of Vermont used the democratic process to order Entergy to close its Vermont Yankee nuclear power plant in March 2012. Vermont Yankee is three miles from Massachusetts and a stone's throw from New Hampshire.
