When The Light Comes On

Then shalt thou understand righteousness, and judgment, and equity; yea, every good path.
Proverbs 2:9

We have all had an "aha" moment when the light bulb finally comes on. A feeling of relief comes over us as we see things in a new light. Such is the same when we accept Christ as our Savior. We no longer are stumbling in darkness but His light of enlightenment shines upon us. While we do not instantly understand everything about the Bible, we are now equipped to seek out His truths.

We often struggle to convince our lost friends of God's eternal truths. Unfortunately, the light bulb is not on. And they argue and challenge even the simplest of concepts. However, we need to recognize their "blindness" and seek to show them the basis plan of salvation. Once they have accepted Christ, then their "eyes will be opened" to His amazing grace.

Has the light come on for you? Do you see God's plan for your life? Does your attitude reflect the compassion and enlightenment that comes with knowing your Master? If so, others will seek to know the source of your contentment in times of struggle and then you can lead them to the Master electrician!
