Resource Of The Week: Wikimedia Commons

Today's resource of the week is Wikimedia Commons. This is a huge database of over 10 million media files that you can use for your projects. Many are copyright free images, but on each piece, you will find the reuse information. In most cases, a simple attribution is needed. The site has a lot of high quality images and other media to use.

There are a lot of ways to explore this site, but my favorite it the search bar in the upper right hand side of the site. Below that, you can narrow your choices by choosing the media type you are looking for.

If you've not come across Wikimedia Commons yet, you're in for a treat. It's quickly becoming one of my favorite places to visit when I'm looking for that perfect image.
