A reader writes...

I just heard about the Iron nun - an 80 year-old triathalete nun. Do you know anything about her? Do nuns "retire" since something I read said she lives on her own now. I know not all religious are in cloisters.

To think that she started running around my age makes me think...

I hadn't heard of her, but now that I read the story, I think I'll forget about bragging that I lost 50 pounds and just go get a milk shake. My life is a failure.

I dunno about living arrangements for elderly nuns. I reckon it depends on how their order is constituted. I expect there are lots of different approaches to retirement.
