Tree Soldier on the Shelf

It's a writer's dream to see her/his book on a bookshelf in the bookstore. Yesterday, I had such a dream come true with the placement of my historical novel, Tree Soldier, on the fiction section of Village Books Bellingham, WA.

Writing is a true joy, but it is also hard work. Now with the book on the shelf and a request to put it in our local library makes it feel like I have arrived. I have many other novels to pitch and send the traditional way, but this particular novel is taking this journey and it's off to a good start.
