For some reason

the kids is asking about my favorite novels. So I'll grant this asking. Tomorrow I'm going to post a list in my classroom and here I'm going to start some musings about these books. It would be terrific to have time in order to reread them, but that's not going to happen soon. Instead, I may talk about my first reaction to these works and how or if that reaction has changed.

Tomorrow I'll start with Orwell's 1984.
