Making myself post, because otherwise I won't do it. Let's see. I'm still working on the third Cloud Roads book, bashing away at the plot wall I've encountered at 60,000 words. I think I've found a way through, hopefully.

I planted a tree yesterday, a
Bubba Desert Willow, since our normally temperate-swampy landscape is turning into a desert. The dirt was like concrete and I kept having to fill the hole with water and wait for it to soak in to be able to get the shovel through it.
