Unashamed

What a joy to see a fellow believer live out his faith in front of an audience of millions on the hit reality show, Survivor.



Matt Elrod has unashamedly confessed his faith and dependence on God throughout trying times and opposition. He has remained victorious.



Even if Matt ends up not winning the game, he will still be a winner in my book for the way he has conducted himself.



He has openly admitted that he sees his part in this TV show as a platform God provided for Matt to live for Him.



What a lesson for the rest of us!



We all have a realm of influence. It might not be on a television show with millions of eyes upon us, but we all have the opportunity to speak out for our Savior and our faith in some form or fashion.



Like Matt and the apostle Paul, we should stand up and proclaim:



For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes: first to the Jew, then to the Gentile. (Romans 1:16, NIV)



Here's to living our faith out loud--unashamed!
