Open Immediately

This was a letter I found on the street that had no sender or address, just the phrase "Open Immediately," and was dated 11/1/70. It reads:

Monsieur,

You have to help me, you have no doubt heard of the difficulties I have been having recently and of the very serious crisis I now find myself in. I want you first to know that everything you might have heard against me is false. I have always tried to lead an honest life, I think, moreover, that you know my work; you certainly know that I dedicate myself to it entirely, but the situation now is at an almost intolerable point and I don't think I will be able to stand it much longer, which is why I ask you, why I implore you to answer me as quickly as possible. I am sorry to bother you, but
I have to find someway out of this situation.

Open Immediately
