Thank you for taking the time to answer so thoroughly. Yeah, everyone has their own process of what works for them. I haven’t quite found mine yet! I have lots of stories in my head but getting them onto paper / the screen is a monumental undertaking. Getting off tumblr would probably be a first step though, ha!

No need to thank me! (As for “thoroughly”… I’m think that the real theme is is that I’m long-winded? Lol!) Good luck with your process! I agree: tumblr is a bit of a motivation killer! If all those ideas are already in your head, then it’s almost more of a translation job than a creating one, if that makes sense. I like to try to see mine playing out like movies and then just describing what I see,if that helps? Good luck!
