Regrets
My biggest regrets with this book are the title and not including my before and after photos from the meth use.
I wanted the title to be: Jason Breedlove 1065131. It came out as: 1065131 A Memoir by Jason Breedlove. When a person hears about the book, they're not going to remember the number by the time they get to the bookstore. It took me weeks to learn it! My editor said it wouldn't make that much difference. He's been replaced.
The before and after photos not making it into the manuscript makes me highly upset as well. Again, I sent my editor all the documents I wanted cropped and placed in. I'm not sure how something so vital could be overlooked. I'm just as guilty because I read the proof copy.
I will have a use for the photos in the next book.
