Getting floetry with Penelope Marshall

Our Thursday Author spotlight moves into a different genre.  We have with us Penelope Marshall who writes for Limitless Publishing.  Her writing covers Romantic Comedy, Military  suspense thrillers.

What inspires you to write?

I am inspired to write stories that remind me of my own hopes and desires.

Where do you get your ideas from?

My ideas flow in from life experiences, but I use the keyboard to add flare and suspense.

Which trope would you never use?

My ideas flow in from life experiences, but I use the keyboard to add flare and suspense.

If you could collaborate with any author who would it be?

I would collaborate with John Steinbeck and Shakespeare. Steinbeck’s realistic approach to the human condition and the fluidity of Shakespeare’s prose would, to me, be a match made in heaven.

What makes you unique as an author? Set’s you apart?

All authors have a special uniqueness about them. I am no better or worse than the guy next to me trying to perfect his craft to the best of his ability.

What books had the biggest impact on your writing?

Romeo & Juliet, Cannery Row, Sweet Thursday, Of Mice and Men, and believe it or not The Bible (So much intrigue…love and loss…money and power…murder…it has EVERYTHING)

What do you like to do when you’re not writing?

I like to catch up on all the shows I have missed during the week (and eat cake…lots of cake).

How do you market your books?

I maintain a Facebook presence, but the bulk of my marketing is left to my wonderfully hardworking PA Johnna Seibert. http://bit.ly/1UyWtGs

What projects are you currently working on?

I am currently working on a Paranormal Romance that I am simply in love with. The floetry that this book allows me to engage in is quite fantastic.
