I hate to admit how many great groups I've discovered through commercials, but here's another: The Real Tuesday Weld. Their music is as wonderfully weird as their name. (Actually, I think it's one guy). Sort of a mix of Leonard Cohen, Tom Waits, and the Squirrel Nut Zippers. Enjoy!
