Pardon our dust — I-Team Reading Challenge

Howdy!

I just wanted to apologize for not keeping up better with the blog lately. Not only is work busy, but I ran into some complications with my neck. I'm now taking prednisone and painkillers to get that back on track.

But it has put me behind in my writing and in rolling out all the fun I had planned to celebrate the upcoming release of Breaking Point.

Only 33 days and 16 hours to go as I write this!

Still, thanks to some help from my sister and some friends, things are moving forward. So here's what's under construction:

I-Team Trivia: These are some tough questions! Plus, there will be a section of matching the hero/heroine to the quote. You think you know Julian? Is Marc your man? Have you got Gabe down? We'll see.

I-Team Hero/Heroine Interviews: This is always lots of fun. We can sit down and check in with them and see what they have to say about and to each other.

There will be prizes for winners, including signed copies of Breaking Point, the chance to appear in the next I-Team novel, an exclusive opportunity to preview Defiant and more.

If Jed Hill answers the questions I sent him, we could have an interview with him. I do plan to contact the former U.S. Marshal I interviewed for this story and see if she'd be willing to answer some questions for you all.

So pardon our dust and the various delays and stay tuned! Much fun to come!

Recent poll results: As the latest poll, about the use of words like "pu$$y" finishes out, I thought I'd comment on the fact that 100 out of 130 voters want to see Holly's story. So here's my promise: If my publisher doesn't want it, I'll write it for release as an e-book.

If you want to discuss the issue of words like "pu$$y" in romance, hop on over to my Facebook page, where a rousing discussion is underway.

Have a great day, everyone!

Beanbag Love Sorry about your neck, Pamela. :( I hope it feels better soon.

Pamela Thank you, Melissa. Thank you, Beanbag.

MDV Book Reviewer — I love Holly TOO MUCH to let her go.

And I might have a surprise or two of "something completely different" up my sleeve over the next year or so. I have a couple of novellas I might write for Kindle just to get them out of my head.

That's great news for die-hard fans like us!!

And Pamela, get well soon!! I got too excited with the news of Holly's story to wish you well ^_^

message 6: by Pamela (new)

Pamela Thanks, MDV BookReviewer. I really appreciate the good wishes. :-)

message 7: by MBR (new)

MBR Most welcome Pamela. And I think you should just call me MBR like everyone else does for convenience sake ^_^

message 8: by Pamela (new)

Pamela OK, I'll do that, MBR. The other was rather long. However, I do like to be respectful... :-)

message 9: by Ren Puspita (new)

Ren Puspita I hope you get better soon , Pamela ^_^

Can't wait to read about Trivia and Interviews , I always love things like this, make us readers understand the character..

Oh, and my friend have a funny review about Extreme Exposure, Pamela, here at Goodreads. She write it at Indonesian languange, but if you want, I will write again in English, so you can read. Really funny, I laugh a lot when read it :D

message 10: by Pamela (new)

Pamela I'd love to read it, Ren. I've studied a lot of languages, but Indonesian isn't one of them (sadly). I wish I spoke every language in the world, but I have to make due with a few. :-)

Beanbag Love I'm glad you're thinking of joining the digital revolution. My Kindle is practically fused to my hand. ;^)

message 12: by Pamela (new)

Pamela Do they make waterproof Kindles for the shower and bath? ;-)

message 13: by Beanbag (new)

Beanbag Love LOL! Well, of course I put a gallon sized ziploc bag over the hand and Kindle and secure it with duct tape. Where there's a will there's a way. :p

message 14: by Pamela (new)

Pamela LOL!!! A special homemade KindleSkin — I'm sure someone will take that name and create a product for it in no time. Haha. :-)

message 15: by Karen (new)

Karen Pamela:
Hope the drugs have kicked in and you are feeling better by now! When you first talked about doing the I-Team Challenge, I was excited because it wasn't that long ago I had re-read all of them. To my dismay, I found that I had also given them away for the second time (I had purchased all of them, gave them away, purchased a second time and gave away again - can't afford to do a third time!!!). Will try to follow just to see if I remember anything! If you write for Kindle, please write for Nook, too!

message 16: by Pamela (new)

Pamela Oh, absolutely, Karen! What I should have said is that I might be writing a few things straight to e-book. :-)

Sounds like you've got a bit of a library going for your friends and that they're not bringing them back. I guess that means they enjoyed them? LOL! Sorry you don't have your copies. Maybe you'll win some.

message 17: by Ann (new)

Ann Thank gawd for good drugs, huh? Hope you're on the mend. Looking forward to the I-Team trivia and inteviews. AND anything from Jed Hill(Yeah baby!).
As far as Holly's story, would love to read hers, but really just looking forward to whatever you write next. Enjoy all your books.

Now less than 30 days until Breaking Point. Woohoo!!!
