Review: The Penguin Who Knew Too Much

The Penguin Who Knew Too Much (Meg Langslow, #8) The Penguin Who Knew Too Much by Donna Andrews

My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Penguins are my favorite animal. A very cute premise: Due to money problems, a zookeeper must farm out all the animals to temporary caretakers until he can make some financial arrangements to keep the zoo open. After a few days, the townsfolk have had enough of the wild animals and begin dropping them off at our lovely protagonists home, while she is moving in, prior to her nuptials. Unfortunately, Dad finds a dead body in the basement and the penguins are a little miffed.
