Are We There Yet?
Today's work tea is Sensational Teas Golden Tian Hong, a tippy black from Yunnan Province. It's very smooth and went nicely with the toasted bagel with sundried tomato cream cheese I had for lunch. The "fill your own" teabags from Kteas are working very well. Finally, a decent cup of tea in public!

Writing going very well. I passed a real milestone yesterday and am embroidering on that chunk today. I think I only have one chapter left to go, plus some fiddly bits! Hope to make some progress on those and do a final read through on the plane to and from Massachusetts.
When I'm not writing I'm either knitting or sleeping. Currently working on four projects, including a pair of socks that's been half done for about a year, a black worsted vest with lace borders, the aran afghan (nearly done with square #5!) and another of those baby sweaters, this time in a larger size for a friend's granddaughter. My second foray into pink, the first being a hat for my editor's little girl last year. With two sons, I never got much pink exposure. This is not really "baby pink" but a bright dusty rose with a sort of mauvy lace trim. I really enjoy that pattern.
