I don't write but I make up little stories in my head that seems to end up being an accumulation of all the movies, books and music that I like so I love this. There are so many of these that I listen to all the time. The appearance of Kansas, Breaking Benjamin (for all your angsty needs!) and Cheap Trick put a big smile on my face :D Don't know if you've heard much else of Pretty Reckless but Nothing Left to Lose is an excellent one :P

I've heard about pretty much all the bands and singers but some of the songs would be new for me. Thank you for the playlist! Can't wait for One Grave at a Time!
Oh how I loves me some Supernatural. Been watching it from day one and can't get enough Dean. Mmm! Love Cas as well. Find it super cool that you're listening to The Pretty Reckless. That album rocks!
what a diverse collection of music.! have you ever listened to anything by "within temptation". could see some of their work on your playlists!!! i have never watched supernatural. would i have to watch from the very begining? might give it a try
Kyle, I'll check out Nothing Left To Lose, thanks! Karyn, I'd recommend watching Supernatural from the beginning. Will say that the first season was my least favorite so far, but it's still good, and very important for what happens later on.
Thanks for all the new music that has been crammed into my ipod. Loving Alter Bridge and Rev Theory. You might like City and Colour as well. Supernatural is so good but I agree about the first season. Excellent source of classic rock :P Gotta love a bit of Dean.
Yay for fellow Team Dean members! And it's just amazing how music can help when you're writing (As I know from experience). Even if it's nothing more than background noise, it can be a great source of inspiration.
Jeaniene, I love supernatural, and all of these songs rock! Though I don't write I have an overactive imagination and have always thought about writing a book. If given a starting idea I can come up with characters, places, relationships, anything needed for a story, but after coming up with the whole story I start going back through it all and changing little things here and there to the point of either throwing the whole story out or changing the story completely. Your books and writing style have truly inspired me to really put my all into becoming an author. Do you have any tips for me??
QuotetheRaven, I get asked this a lot, so I compiled a blog post about writing that's - hoperfully - helpful. Here you go: http://jeanienefrost.com/2010/05/advi...
Jeaniene, Thank you so much! Your blog post was so helpful, it answered a lot of the questions I had. It touched on some of my concerns, and even brought up things I hadn't thought about. I want to thank you for sparing your time, I look forward to reading more of your work. :)
Jeaniene, I have a question that I have wanted to ask since I first read your book. What made you decide to have Cat live in Ohio?? I was born in Ohio and don't really think much happens there.
Katie3, I spent part of my childhood in a small town outside of Columbus, so I felt comfortable with the area as a setting.
Jeaniene, That is so cool. I didn't know you lived in Ohio as a child. The time that I'd spent in Ohio I've seen beautiful things and places, but also some tough parts. You get your city, your country, and your in between. So I guess I can see why you would choose to use it as a setting in your book and have Cat grow up there. I've also seen some paranormal like things there, so I found it interesting that you would include that in your book. Thank you so much for taking the time to answer that for me. I really appreciate it. :]
