The Danger of Texting: Some examples

Silly humans think they can do two things at once despite overwhelming evidence that they can barely do one thing at once. If you can't walk and chew gum at the same time, what makes you think you can walk and text simultaneously? Read on to see some dramatic examples.

If you can't even walk and text at the same time, imagine how much harder it must be to drive while texting. When you're walking and texting, you might fall into a fountain or off a train platform. You're mostly putting yourself at risk. In Champaign a couple years ago, a student walked in front of a bus because she was distracted by her phone. When you're driving, you're putting other people at risk too, both those in your car and those around you. Here's what happened to when a bus driver was texting while driving in San Antonio, Texas:
