On Writing Horror: Great tips from some of the heavyweights in the genre

I've been doing a great deal of research lately on how to be a better horror writer. You know what I've found? A lot of the tips suggested for horror writers are just as useful across most other genres. At the end of the day, it's the story and characters that make a novel successful.
