Diane I feel when we read this story that God is reminding us that we are no better then the other person. We need to see ourself in others eyes. Jesus helps us to remember this. That we are all brother and sisters in God's eyes. We need to help other. To love others as we love ourself.

Diane I know it is easier to give of one's self then to receive. We are taught how to give but not how to receive something. I think sometimes we just have to except what is given to us. We need to appreciate it, and say thank you. I also feel there is someone out there that can use what is being given more then myself.
