So it looks like, initially, SHERLOCK is the one with the dog and the Amanda, John, and the baby join him. So presumably then Amanda takes the dog lead from Sherlock.  So the dog’s not John and Mary’s? It’s with Sherlock. Maybe he is trying to track a smell.
