He played it left hand but made it too far
Today has been … a day. One of those days when every time I tried to sit down and be productive, some new task landed in my lap – but that's okay. The day brought a bit of publishing money (YAY!) and some bills (BOO) and some dayjob work (YAY JOB SECURITY) and then some errand-running, which was not planned for.
These things happen. They actually happen quite often, these days. But anyway, I finally got my daily allotment of words composed, and now I can log off and prepare for tomorrow with confidence. Or at least, a nightcap of rum.
