I think I am better at making friends with animals than people....

I think I am better at making friends with animals than people. I think they understand me more and I know I understand them more. Maybe all these past lives I was them, and not this; maybe this is my first try at human and I am learning as I go. I know very little, but I know this: I am a wild thing contained in flesh, and I still don’t think it fits me right.
