The MC, whose name is NA, deals with the head Mage of Boulder who for some strange, unknown reason, thinks NA is up to something. Gail manages to insult Daisy, NA's best friend who is helping NA get home after the fight with the mating pair of ghouls.
Oops, I didn't say that happens in Ch One. But it does. And even though I don't want to say a lot here, she does fight two ghouls and she does not come out unscathed: emotionally and physically.
