A new pondering

For two years I had a dream come true, I wrote for a news paper! No I did not write news nor was I a reporter I wrote things to make people think I wrote about everyday life, I wrote about family, I wrote about politics, and I wrote about hobbies, my readers were my family and we did not always agree as most families do not but it was a very close connection and then it stopped! Without warning I received an email saying that the paper was shutting down after fifty years of publication, to say I was stunned would be a gross understatement so what did I do?
Well I first will tell you what I did not do. I did not stop writing and publishing books, I did not stop painting I did not stop drawing I just stopped writing for the daily news paper of Kingsport Tennessee. However I loved writing and having people read my thoughts and I also realized that eventually all paper printed news would go the way that land lines are going and the same way the dinosaurs went all will eventually become extinct so I turned to the one media that will most likely outlive me, the net. What you are now reading is the first of my weekly blog that will be published every sat as was my weekly news paper column.
Here I will continue to write about fun stuff, serious stuff, and stuff to give you somthing to ponder so until next week keep on striving to live your dreams as I keep striving to live mine.
