Nikee was scheduled to fly away three days after our experiences at the grotto. I wanted our last night together to be extra memorable, so we would cherish the experience for years to come. After a light meal at the school restaurant we decided to take a stroll in the ���Hanging Gardens of Babylon,��� above the grotto.
Nikee began, "Young, you���ve grown since I first met you. I'm so glad you decided to join E.R.O.S. You made a wise choice to come to the Bahriji. It is an environment in which you already are thriving.���
I said, "One of the main reasons I decided to be an E.R.O.S. member was because of you. I looked up to you, always, as my BB and you have a special place in my heart, even though you keep reminding me not to fall in love with you," I gently teased.
He looked at me and said, "You know I will never be able to return the love you have for me. As much as I love you, Young, you are my prot��g��. Also, I���m not one hundred percent gay. "I know someone who will be happy to have a loving relationship with you. You are a great guy; you deserve someone who can return your love," Nikee assured me.
"Who is this someone? I'd like to know him. Are you going to introduce us?��� I asked.
"You���ll find out soon enough, young chap!" my BB said, amusedly.
When we returned to the dorm room, Josef, our ���straight��� roommate was ready to turn in for the night. Nikee and I really wanted some time together. We asked Josef if he would mind if I slept with Nikee that night. Since all Bahriji students were open-minded and didn���t give a damn who slept with whom, Josef was fine with our request.
After showering, Nikee and I jumped into bed naked and we held each other intimately. Our embrace turned to lingering French kisses, and love making. We had always kept a nightlight by the bedside table so none of us would trip in the middle of the night. I could make out, in the dim light, that Josef was watching us. Although he was in his own bed his eyes were transfixed on our every move. For a heterosexual guy, he certainly seemed interested in our male love. I didn't mind having sex in front of Bahriji boys. I had just finished the Sensuality and Foreplay session, with other boys watching. I certainly had no problem with Josef looking on, as Nikee and I made love.

5 stars: I love a true story

I love a true story, particularly when the author is articulate and conveys meaning and emotion clearly. This tale involves the author's upbringing in a secret sexual society in which he dwelled as a member of a male harem. Though some may be shocked by the explicit sexual details, I felt that the author did a nice job of counterbalancing these moments with other, less shocking bits of his story. In particular, I enjoyed his educational experiences in fashion and of becoming a young man in a land far from his home, as well as his travels abroad in surely what, to some, might have been very unfortunate circumstances but the author makes it clear that he was not forced and chose to live this extraordinary life. It is difficult for some to grasp how this tale of servitude could be a love story, and yet it is. I don't want to give too much away! But, it's lovely to see that people can overcome things that happen to them and embrace themselves fully for who and what they are. If only everyone was as buoyant and resilient as this author, whose second through seventh book in the series will surely be on my "to read" shelf.
