#Authors aren't purrfect but they can come close.

Are you sitting down for this? Are you sitting down for this? Authors are human beings and are therefore imperfect. So why do readers expect books to be perfect?  Not all of us do but we would like them to be as close to it as possible. The reason being is that typos and word errors take many of us away from the story. 

What can authors do? Listen to editors, proofreaders, beta-readers before the book is published. Make sure you are uploading the proper version of your book into Amazon or other eBook publishing sites. 

What if something gets past the author and is discovered later?  On Amazon they can update their book and then make sure Amazon is aware of the update. After that, Amazon reviews it and determines if the changes warrant a push out to all who have downloaded that book. The reader will be notified of changes and instructed on how to update the book.

Best case scenario get it right the first time, but since we aren't perfect, Amazon provided a back-up plan.
